Dedicated to meeting the Healthcare Needs of the Wabash Valley. Union Hospital, Union Hospital Clinton, and our network of physicians join together to provide comprehensive care to residents of west central Indiana and east central Illinois.
In 2014 we continued to serve our patients with compassionate healthcare of the highest quality. As a not-for-profit healthcare system, Union Hospital is dedicated to providing advanced, quality healthcare to our communities. Since our beginnings in 1892, we have continued to improve and expand our services and facilities and the skills of our employees to provide care to all residents of the Wabash Valley, regardless of their ability to pay.
Union Hospital's Unique and Vital Role
Union is a teaching hospital providing education and training to family medicine physicians, medical students, nursing students and other allied health professions.
In 2014, Union Hospital provided over $36.1 million in charity care and covered an additional $36.6 million in patient bad debt for a total of $72.7 million in uncompensated care.
